JLL: Reinforcement for Western Switzerland
JLL has appointed Sophie Carliez to lead business development of transaction-related services in the Geneva office.
In her new role at JLL, Sophie Carliez will be responsible for commercial real estate leasing and tenant representation in Western Switzerland. Sophie Carliez, MRICS, holds an MBA in Finance and Administration and a Master in Marketing and has over 14 years of experience advising domestic and international corporate clients on real estate related issues. She has extensive expertise in local markets, lease negotiations, innovative leasing and financing models, and strategic advice to property users and owners.
After more than ten years at SPG Intercity in Geneva as Director for French-speaking Switzerland and prior to joining JLL, Carliez was Head of Real Estate Advisory Services for Western Switzerland at Deloitte, one of the "Big 4", the world's leading accounting and consulting firms.
With the appointment of Sophie Carliez, JLL continues the dynamic growth of its activities in Western Switzerland. In line with its expanding business, JLL Switzerland is continuously expanding its presence both in the leasing team and in the other business fields.
In addition to Sophie Carliez, JLL has hired three dedicated professionals in recent months, led by Olivier Metzenthin, in the Geneva Transaction Management team to serve the growing demand for corporate finance and transaction services in the region.
JLL Switzerland now employs around 15 real estate consultants in the Geneva office and a total of around 45 professionals throughout Switzerland.
