Baloise launches real estate fund for the first time
Baloise Asset Management has launched a first Baloise real estate fund. The placement volume was CHF 275 million.

According to Baloise, pension funds, banks, asset managers and family offices, among others, have participated in the new Baloise Swiss Property Fund.
The Swiss real estate fund, which is aimed exclusively at qualified investors and was paid on October 1, 2018, is reportedly already fully invested, having been endowed with a portfolio of 35 properties from Baloise's real estate holdings. These are predominantly residential properties with "high location quality," the insurer says.
"The fund thus offers an investment opportunity that generates a return from day one while minimizing risks through a broadly diversified portfolio," says Dieter Kräuchi, CEO of Baloise Immobilien Management AG. The issue is an important milestone in the implementation of Baloise Asset Management's third-party business strategy, the insurance group's statement continues. (ah)
