New fund manager for CS 1a Immo PK
Marcel Denner will become fund manager of the Credit Suisse fund CS 1a Immo PK on 1 March 2019. He succeeds Thomas Vonaesch, who intends to focus on his role as Head of Real Estate Fund Management at Credit Suisse Funds AG.
Marcel Denner (born 1981) joined Credit Suisse Asset Management's Global Real Estate on November 5. In addition to his role as fund manager, which he will take up next March, he will lead strategic projects of Global Real Estate Switzerland, Credit Suisse announces.
Denner joins from Hiag Data, where he was Chief Financial Officer. From 2012 to 2018, he held various positions at Swiss Prime Site, most recently as Head Corporate Ventures & Development and member of the Executive Board of Swiss Prime Site Management. Denner previously worked within Credit Suisse from 2009 to 2012, including as Head of Business Management at Credit Suisse Investor Services.
Denner holds a degree in business administration from Ludwigshafen, has completed essential Curem further education at the University of Zurich and an Executive MBA at the University of St. Gallen.
Thomas Vonaesch, his predecessor at the helm of CS 1a Immo PK, led the fund for 16 years. He played a leading role in the fund's creation and built it into one of the largest Swiss real estate funds, Credit Suisse said in its statement. (ah)
