ZIF Immobilien Direkt raises 400 million
The launch of ZIF Immobilien Direkt Schweiz, Zurich Invest's new real estate fund, has been successful. The first tranche was oversubscribed and the fund received CHF 400 million.
According to Zurich Invest, 3.2 million units in ZIF Immobilien Direkt Schweiz have been allocated. "Within a short time, we were able to realize a solid, diversified real estate portfolio with selected real estate gems for a broad investor base," says Martin Gubler, CEO of Zurich Invest. The real estate fund plans to acquire properties with a total current market value of over one billion CHF.
At the same time, Zurich Invest announced a capital increase with a second tranche of real estate for the second half of 2019. In order to make the fund accessible to further investors, a listing on the Swiss stock exchange is also planned. (ah)
