Warteck Invest announces personnel changes to the Board of Directors for the upcoming Annual General Meeting on May 22, 2019. The current Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Christoph M. Müller (born in 1948), will not be standing for re-election due to the regulatory age limit. He has been at the helm of the Board since 2001.

The new Chairman will be Dr. Marcel Rohner (born 1964), who has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2011. Dr. Rohner, who holds a doctorate in economics, was a member of the Group Executive Board of UBS from 2002 to 2009 and was also its CEO from 2007 to 2009. Rohner is also the founder and Chairman of Löwenfeld AG in Aarau and holds various board mandates, for example at Helvetische Bank in Zurich, Union Bancaire Privée in Geneva and the Swiss Bankers Association.

Stephan A. Müller (born in 1981) and Kurt Ritz (born in 1963) will also be proposed for election to the Board of Directors of Warteck Invest. Müller is the younger son of the departing Chairman of the Board of Directors and anchor shareholder Christoph Müller. From 2009 to 2018, he held various management positions at the Franke Group in Switzerland and abroad, where he was responsible for the development of growth markets in Asia and the development of the global real estate strategy, among other things. Today he is an independent entrepreneur and investor.

Ritz joined PricewaterhouseCoopers AG (PwC) in 1995 and was appointed partner in 2004. He built up and led the real estate advisory team at PwC Switzerland and was office manager of the Zurich office from 2010 to 2013. From 2013 to 2018, he led the entire transaction team and in this function was also a member of the Executive Board of the advisory division of PwC Switzerland. From April 1, 2019, Ritz will serve as an independent, professional member of the Board of Directors, Board of Trustees and as a member of investment committees. (ah)
