New addition to the management team at ISS
Jochen Ruf is a new member of the management board of ISS Switzerland. He assumes overall responsibility for the East region and succeeds Stefan Tobler.
Jochen Ruf (39) has been promoted to Managing Director Area East and member of the Executive Board of ISS Switzerland, effective January 1, 2019. As such, he is responsible for the facility company's business in Zurich and eastern Switzerland and is responsible for around 3,700 employees and a sales volume of CHF 204 million.
Ruf began his career at ISS Switzerland at the end of 2004 and, according to a company statement, progressed through four career steps to become a member of the executive board within these 14 years: After starting as a project planner, he was promoted to Project Manager Sales & Business Development. In 2008, he became Head Transition & Support at ISS FM Services AG, and in 2012 he was promoted to Regional Director Zurich. Ruf was thus responsible for a sales volume of 67 million. In his new position as Managing Director Area East, he succeeds Stefan Tobler, who left ISS Switzerland after 14 years. He joined Vebego as COO.
Jochen Ruf holds a degree in industrial engineering FH with a focus on facility management from the Albstadt-Sigmaringen University of Applied Sciences and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto as well as an Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen. (ah)
