Swiss Life AM appoints Country Head for Germany

Tina Störmer takes on the new position of CEO and Country Head of Swiss Life Asset Managers in Germany. Corpus Sireo Real Estate is undergoing a change in management.

Tina Störmer is currently Head Strategic & Special Tasks at Swiss Life Asset Managers. She will take over as CEO and Country Head of the company in Germany with immediate effect, Swiss Life AM announced on 17 January. In this newly created function, she will be responsible for the further development of Swiss Life AM's business strategy and organisation in Germany. The 33-year-old will become a member of the Executive Board of Swiss Life Asset Managers and report directly to Stefan Mächler, Swiss Life's Group Chief Investment Officer (CIO).

Störmer studied real estate economics and holds a doctorate in business administration. She joined the company in 2015 and initially headed the Business Management Real Estate division. In 2018, she was appointed Head Strategic & Special Tasks.

Bernhard Berg leaves Corpus Sireo

In Germany, Ralph Günther (59), the current Chairman of the Supervisory Board, will also take over the operational management of Corpus Sireo Real Estate GmbH in Cologne. According to Swiss Life AM, CEO Bernhard Berg (59) is leaving the company at his own request and by mutual agreement.

Günther will act as CEO on an interim basis to drive forward the further development and orientation of Corpus Sireo in the German real estate market and within Swiss Life Asset Managers. He led the company from 2009 to 2016 and then moved to the Supervisory Board. Günther's position as Chairman of the Supervisory Board will be taken over by Rudolf Keller (48), Head Corporate Finance and M&A of the Swiss Life Group. (ah)
