Intershop: Kurt Ritz to become a member of the Board of Directors

Kurt Ritz, currently Real Estate Sector Leader at PwC Switzerland, is to be elected to the Board of Directors of Intershop Holding in April.

According to Intershop, the Board of Directors will propose the election of Kurt Ritz to the Board of Directors at the upcoming Annual General Meeting on April 4, 2019.

Ritz (born 1963) has worked for PwC in Switzerland since 1995, taking over as head of the real estate team there in 2002. In 2004, he was admitted to the partnership of the consulting and auditing firm, and since 2006 he has served as Real Estate Sector Leader for PwC Switzerland. From 2010 to 2013, he also headed the Zurich office, and from 2013 he was head of the deals team and thus a member of the leadership team of PwC Switzerland's advisory business. Since 2013, he has also been a member of the Swiss Oversight Board. From 2007 to 2010, Ritz was also Chairman of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in Switzerland.

As of April, Ritz will now leave PwC Switzerland and will then serve as a professional board member, foundation board member and as a member of investment committees. He is also standing for election to the Board of Directors of the Basel real estate company Warteck Invest.  (ah)
