Julius Baer establishes real estate competence center
According to a media report, private bank Julius Baer plans to expand its real estate advisory services and has recruited Beatrice Hodel from Credit Suisse to do so.
Like Finews.ch with reference to a communication of the private bank reported, Julius Baer plans to establish a center of excellence for real estate advisory services for wealthy and ultra-wealthy private clients. Beatrice Hodel will join the institute from Credit Suisse as of February 1.
According to Julius Baer's announcement, the new center will complement the company's in-house advisory services on topics such as real estate portfolios, investment decisions, legal or tax aspects of the acquisition, sale and management of properties.
Hodel has been a real estate consultant at Credit Suisse for the past eleven years. Prior to that, she worked for a total of 16 years at Zurich-based Lienhardt & Partner Privatbank, where she headed the real estate advisory and sales department, among other things. (ah)
