BFW Liegenschaften reports profit increase
According to preliminary and unaudited results, BFW Liegenschaften AG reports a profit including revaluation gains of CHF 20.6 million for the 2018 financial year. In the previous year, the figure was 18 million.
At EBIT level, BFW Liegenschaften reported a profit of CHF 26.5 million, compared with CHF 22.6 million in the previous year. Profit including revaluation income increased from 18.0 to 20.6 million in the reporting period, but excluding revaluation income it fell from 12.5 to 11.9 million. The market valuation of the real estate portfolio resulted in a revaluation gain of 10.3 million (previous year: 8.1 million), the report continues.
In recent months, the real estate company has sold seven smaller properties, with the result that rental income fell from 17.0 to 15.2 million. The sale of the properties reportedly generated a profit of 4.1 million (previous year: 0.3 million).
