Helvetica Swiss Commercial plans capital increase
The fund management company Helvetica Property Investors has announced that it will carry out another capital increase for the real estate fund Helvetica Swiss Commercial (HSC) in the spring.
The proceeds from the issue will be used for the further expansion of the real estate portfolio, Helvetica Property Investors said in a statement. Helvetica Swiss Commercial's portfolio includes properties worth more than CHF 400 million and generates a gross ACT yield of around six percent, it added.
The fund management has already secured additional properties for the fund and is negotiating, in some cases exclusively, the purchase of further properties with a total volume of around 150 million.
The announcement also states that a listing of the fund on the SIX-Swiss Exchange is planned in the course of the year. Until then, the fund will continue to be traded over the counter by Banque Cantonale Vaudoise.
Helvetica Swiss Commercial invests in properties with appreciation potential in the most important economic areas of Switzerland, aiming for a broadly diversified portfolio in terms of regions, types of use, property sizes and tenant mix. According to the fund management, the core of the investments are properties that, in addition to an attractive operating return, are potentially undervalued and whose potential can be leveraged, for example, through revitalization, redevelopment, reduction of vacancies or extension of leases.
