Bruno Bettoni has been a member of the Board of Directors of Allreal Holding AG since 2014 and has been its Chairman since 2016. Due to the statutory age limit, he will step down from the board at the 2019 Annual General Meeting, the company announced. The Board of Directors is proposing Dr. Ralph-Thomas Honegger (born 1959), currently Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, as its new Chairman. Honegger is still head of investments at Helvetia Insurance and a member of the Group Executive Board until March 31 of this year. He has been a member of the Allreal Board of Directors since 2012.

Furthermore, two new members of the Board of Directors are to be elected at the Annual General Meeting to be held on April 12, 2019: Dr. Philipp Gmür (born 1963), Chief Executive Officer of Helvetia Group, and Jürg Stöckli (born 1969), Head of Real Estate and member of the SBB Group Management until December 2018. The other members of the Board of Directors - Olivier Steimer, Peter Spuhler, Andrea Sieber, Thomas Stenz and Peter Mettler - are standing for re-election.

Allreal also announces that Hans Engel, longstanding Head of Investments, will leave the Group Management at the end of February 2019 in view of his upcoming retirement. However, he will continue to be available to the company in his traditional function. (ah)
