The property management company DBS Immobilier is a Swiss subsidiary of the Foncia Group and is represented in French-speaking Switzerland by seven brands, including Domicim, Brolliet and Duc-Sarrasin. Now, for the first time, the company is acquiring a company in German-speaking Switzerland: Gribi, headquartered in Basel, specialises in property management, construction management and marketing.
With a portfolio of over 35,000 residential and commercial properties, the company is considered one of the leading players in property management in German-speaking Switzerland, DBS Immobilier says. With the acquisition, the French-speaking Swiss firm expands its geographical coverage to the cities of Aarau, Basel, Zurich, Bern and Laufen.
The integration of Gribi is "the first step in our expansion into the German-speaking part of Switzerland, which is one of DBS Immobilier's main objectives," says CEO Christophe Hubschmid. (ah)
