Akara fund plans capital increase
The Akara Diversity PK real estate fund plans to increase its capital by CHF 130 to 170 million.

According to a statement by Akara Funds AG, a capital increase is planned for Akara Diversity PK (Akara Swiss Diversity Property Fund PK) with an expected payment at the end of June 2019. The upcoming issue will be the fourth capital increase in total; the subscription period is scheduled from April to May. An issue volume of around 130 to 170 million is planned, the fund company added.
The aim, he said, is to increase the liquidity of the titles, expand the investor base, reduce the leverage ratio and finance upcoming lighthouse construction projects.
For further diversification, additional residential and commercial properties in stable Swiss economic regions with solid earnings have already been secured and purchased for the fund, according to the statement. The newly inflowing equity from the capital increase is expected to be fully invested by the time of payment, according to the statement. (ah)
