Strong growth at the Steiner Investment Foundation
The Steiner Investment Foundation with its Swiss Development Residential investment group more than doubled its net assets in fiscal year 2018.
Net assets increased by 108.6% to CHF 192 million in fiscal 2018, according to Steiner Investment Foundation. The NAV per claim of the investment group increased by 4.13% to CHF 115.85.
The Swiss Development Residential investment group expanded its portfolio from eight to 13 real estate projects last year; the estimated market value at completion totals 608.4 million.
By the end of 2018, Steiner Investment Foundation had expanded its investor base by nine to a total of 44 employee benefit institutions. The fifth issue of the fiscal year alone added 92.28 million.
Three projects have already been acquired in the first quarter of 2019, the investment foundation says. Further projects from the acquisition pipeline are currently being prepared for notarization in the coming weeks. (ah)
