Hascher Jehle Architektur was founded in Berlin in 1992 by Professor Rainer Hascher and Professor Sebastian Jehle, with Thomas Kramps joining as an additional managing director in 2005. The office currently employs around 70 people and plans new buildings for offices, administration, commerce, culture as well as for education and research, housing and hotels. In addition, the architectural office is active in the areas of revitalization and conversion.
As a general planner, Hascher Jehle adds an important competence to the engineering portfolio, BKW writes in a statement. Due to digitalization and larger project scopes in engineering, it is necessary to involve more disciplines in the planning process. Clients increasingly want seamless consulting throughout the entire planning and construction process, which is why architectural competencies are becoming increasingly important for general planning, the statement continues.
The BKW Group, headquartered in Bern, employs over 7,000 people and plans, builds and operates energy production and supply infrastructures for companies, private individuals and the public sector. BKW Engineering includes around 30 companies from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. (ah)
