Akara Diversity PK seeks fresh capital
The real estate fund Akara Swiss Diversity Property Fund PK is carrying out its fourth capital increase. The issue volume is expected to be around CHF 170 million.
The subscription period for the Akara Diversity PK emsision runs from April 29 to June 7. Up to 157,080 new fund units are to be issued at a net price of CHF 1,083 each. This brings the maximum volume to around 170 million.
The exact number of units to be issued will be determined by the number of subscriptions received, Akara Funds said. Units that are not subscribed will not be issued. The issue will be carried out on a "best effort basis" as part of a rights offering to investors in Switzerland, with four existing units entitling the holder to subscribe for one new unit, Akara Funds said.
The fund intends to use the proceeds from the issue to invest in real estate assets and real estate projects throughout Switzerland and also to repay short-term debt. (ah)
