UBS Investment Foundation increases volume to over one billion
As of the end of April, the UBS AST Hypotheken Schweiz investment foundation had reached an investment volume of over one billion francs for the first time.
UBS launched UBS AST Mortgages Switzerland about two years ago. Since then, it has seen strong demand as well as steady portfolio growth, UBS says. Investors reportedly include more than 100 institutions.
The investment foundation pursues a conservative strategy and invests in high-quality mortgages. The mortgages are issued directly via a platform that was also launched two years ago. This UBS Atrium platform connects mortgage borrowers of investment properties with Swiss institutional investors seeking investment opportunities in the Swiss mortgage sector. (ah)
