BFW Liegenschaften: Serge Aerne withdraws from the Board of Directors
Serge Aerne will no longer stand for election to the Board of Directors of BFW Liegenschaften. This was announced by the company the day before the Annual General Meeting.
Serge Aerne has informed the Board of Directors that he has decided not to stand for re-election to the Board of Directors for personal reasons, BFW Liegenschaften announced one day before the Annual General Meeting on May 7, 2019.
About a month ago, Aerne had stepped down from his position as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and resigned from the company's management team. At the time, it was said that he wanted to remain on BFW's board of directors.
The reason cited for his resignation as CMO in April was media coverage related to controversial dealings at Phoenix, the pension fund Aerne founded, and related ongoing investigations. (ah)
