Vontobel fund disposes of property in Germany
Vontobel Sustainable Real Estate Europe has sold the Polikum Charlottenburg health center in Berlin. This is the first sale since the fund was launched.
As portfolio manager, Quadoro Real Estate has sold the Berlich property for the open-ended special AIF Vontobel Sustainable Real Estate Europe (VSREE). The purchaser is an institutional investor whose name has not been disclosed; no information was provided on the purchase price.
The Polikum health center, built in 2004, is located in Berlin's Charlottenburg district. The leasable area is 5,500 sqm. According to Quadoro, the general tenant is a provider of local health care. The indexed lease with an option to extend runs until 2025.
The fund had acquired the property in 2015 - it is the first sale of a property from VSREE since its launch in July 2015. The seller was advised by Cushman & Wakefield. (ah)
