Guinnard Immobilier & Tourisme was founded in 1965 and is one of the leading players in the real estate market in Verbier, according to DBS Immobilier. The company brokers and rents properties, is active in condominium and property management, and also implements new construction projects. Guinnard has been working with the Knight Frank network for about 20 years.

Daniel Guinnard, director and sole managing director of Guinnard, will continue to manage the company's real estate brokerage operations.

Christophe Hubschmid, managing director of the DBS Immobilier Group, says that one of the goals for 2019 is to expand its presence in Valais. With the acquisition of Guinnard, he says, this has been achieved.

The real estate manager DBS Immobilier is a Swiss subsidiary of the Foncia Group and is represented in over 30 cities in western and German-speaking Switzerland. In March, DBS Immobilien acquired the Basel-based company Gribi. (ah)
