Marco Feusi becomes new Hiag CEO
Marco Feusi, Chairman of the Executive Board at Wüest Partner, is moving to site developer Hiag. He will assume the position of CEO there from January 2020.
Marco Feusi has been with Wüest Partner for 19 years. He became a partner in 2003 and has been Chairman of the Executive Board since 2017. He will leave Wüest Partner at the end of 2019 to succeed Dr Felix Grisard in January 2020. Grisard, who is Chairman of the Hiag Board of Directors, is currently interim CEO of the real estate company, after Martin Durchschlag left the company at the end of April.
The 47-year-old Feusi is a qualified architect, chartered surveyor MRICS and has completed the management training Master of Advanced Studies of the ETH (MAS ETH MTEC/BWI). He has many years of experience in valuation and consulting mandates, including for listed companies, pension funds and project developers.
"With the election of Marco Feusi, the Board of Directors is strengthening Hiag's real estate expertise. The new CEO is a recognised industry specialist with proven management and market experience," says Grisard.
A few days ago, Hiag revised its earnings expectations for the first half of the year, because talks between the subsidiary Hiag Data and the stock exchange operator SIX for a cloud solution for the Swiss financial market failed. (ah)
