Züblin: CFO Roland Friederich also becomes CEO

Roland Friederich has been working for Züblin Immobilien Holding since 2008, since 2016 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As of July 15, he will succeed Dr. Iosif Bakaleynik as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with overall operational responsibility and management under a dual CEO/CFO mandate, the real estate company says.

According to Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Wolfgang Zürcher, Friederich is "the ideal appointment. During the turnaround, he was jointly responsible for a large number of projects that brought Züblin back into the black. A greatly simplified organization is the next step towards an optimized cost structure.

The previous Group CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Iosif Bakaleynik, had announced his retirement when the annual report was presented in May. As proposed by the Board of Directors, Dr. Wolfgang Zürcher succeeded him as Chairman of the Board. (ah)
