Andermatt Swiss Alps: New CEO in place
Raphael Krucker will be the new CEO of Andermatt Swiss Alps AG as of January 1, 2020. He previously worked for the technology company Bühler.

Raphael Krucker is an internationally experienced manager who has experience in building up companies and developing international markets, according to a statement from Andermatt Swiss Alps AG. With him as the new CEO, a new phase can be initiated to successfully market the destination internationally.
Krucker, 40, has held various management positions with the technology company Bühler Group worldwide since 1995. According to a statement from Andermatt Swiss Alps, he began his career as a manager responsible for planning and implementing large-scale projects, primarily in Asia and Europe. In 2006, he became area sales manager, and in 2010, he took charge of the East and South Africa region. In January 2014, he became Head of Customer Service and Business Development for the Middle East and Africa region and in this position was also part of the Executive Leadership Team within the MEA region. In 2014 and 2015, he was additionally responsible for the sales and service organizations in Pakistan and Nigeria as Managing Director. Since January 2019, he has been leading the Oceania region in Australia as Managing Director.
Krucker trained as a grain mill engineer and studied mechanical engineering in St. Gallen. He was trained as an executive manager at the IMD Business School and also completed a "management development program" at the WITS Business School in South Africa. (ah)
