According to the Baloise Group, the first capital increase of the Baloise Swiss Property Fund was well received by investors. In addition to existing investors, new investors were also served, thus expanding the circle of shareholders, says Matthias Henny, CIO of the Baloise Group. With the newly raised capital, the fund intends to acquire a real estate portfolio with 20 properties worth 194 million.

The issue was carried out from August 12 to 23, 2019. Around 1.96 million new units at an issue price of CHF 104.00 per unit were subscribed, Baloise said. In the future, there will be around 4.71 million fund units in circulation.

The success of the capital increase confirms the continued high demand of institutional customers for investment solutions in real estate. Therefore, the launch of further products is currently planned, says Dieter Kräuchi, CEO of Baloise Immobilien Management. (ah)
