Timo Tschammler joined JLL in October 2012 as a member of the German Management Board. In January 2017, the 42-year-old was appointed Germany CEO, and in 2018 he also joined the EMEA Strategy Board.

As of September 30, 2020, Tschammler will leave JLL at his own request and resign from his positions effective March 31, 2020, the real estate services provider announced.

In his role as CEO Germany, Tschammler had driven forward and expanded JLL's digital strategy. He had also helped to optimize and diversify the service offering. In 2018, the company generated more than half of its revenue from consulting services outside of its traditional core business, the sale and leasing of commercial real estate, JLL added.

"One of the main tasks in Timo's succession will be to build on these successes and continue on our chosen path," says Guy Grainger, CEO JLL EMEA. A successor for the German business will be sought both internally and externally. (ah)
