UBS funds increase distribution

The fund management company has announced that the distributions for the two real estate funds UBS Direct Residential and UBS Direct Urban will be increased by 5% and 20% respectively this year.

The UBS (CH) Property Fund - Direct Residential will distribute CHF 0.42 per unit for the past financial year, which is CHF 5% more than in the previous year (CHF 0.40). The net asset value per unit (before distribution) rose from CHF 13.67 to CHF 13.82. The fund's performance is estimated at -1.6% after -13.6% in the previous year. The investment yield fell from 4.9% to 4.1%, while the distribution yield rose from 2.5% to 2.8%. The fund's portfolio grew by around CHF 19% to CHF 701 million, while rental income rose by CHF 8.5% to CHF 30.4 million.

The distribution of the UBS (CH) Property Fund - Direct Urban increased by 20% to CHF 0.30 per unit (previous year: 0.25%).
The net asset value increased from CHF 11.39 to CHF 11.55. The performance was -1.1% after -10.5% in the previous year. The return on investment rose from 2.9% to 3.7%. The fund's rental income amounted to 14.2 million, the rental loss rate was 8.2% - 20% less than in the previous year. Net fund assets amounted to 332.6 million. (ah)
