Capital increase at Novavest

Novavest Real Estate will carry out a capital increase from the end of November. In December, the real estate company also plans to switch to the SIX Swiss Exchange.

Novavest Real Estate intends to issue approximately 1.3 million new registered shares with a nominal value of CHF 30.20 each, with a subscription ratio of 4:1. The company intends to announce the issue price shortly before the start of the subscription period, which runs from November 25 to December 11, 2019

There will be no rights trading. Shares not subscribed in the rights offering will be allocated to Bank J. Safra Sarasin for further allocation to investors.

Novavest intends to use the proceeds from the capital increase to further expand its real estate portfolio and to acquire residential as well as residential and commercial properties.

Change to SIX in December

The Board of Directors has also decided to apply for listing on the SIX Swiss Exchange. Currently, Novavest shares are listed on the BX Swiss.

With an SIX listing, the share would be newly included in important
indices such as the Swiss Performance Index (SPI), the SPI Extra, the SPI ex SLI, the Swiss All Shares Index as well as in real estate indices such as the SXI Real Estate All Shares Index or the SXI Real Estate Broad Index, Novavest said. This will meet the needs of various institutional investors, it said.

Novavest has already applied to BX Swiss for the delisting of the existing registered shares on the date of listing on SIX. The first trading day on the SIX Swiss Exchange is scheduled for December 16, 2019. (ah)
