New Managing Director for Ruag Real Estate
Matthias Hauswirth will become the new managing director at Ruag Real Estate on April 1, 2020. He succeeds Hans Rudolf Hauri, who will leave the company at the end of 2019.
Matthias Hauswirth (47) joins from Frutiger, where he has led real estate development since 2017. Previously, he worked for Steiner and Losinger Marazzi. The architect ETH/SIA began his professional career in 1999 as a construction project manager and general planner.
Hauswirth succeeds Hans Rudolf Hauri as managing director of Ruag Real Estate. Hauri will leave the company at the end of the year after more than ten years and devote himself to his own company, IMUB AG, Ruag announced.
As Ruag Real Estate will be assigned to MRO Holding as of the beginning of 2020 as a result of the unbundling of the company, Stefan Meier-Deus, Head of Finance at MRO Switzerland, and Patrik Schafer, Head of Finance and Portfolio Management, will manage Ruag Real Estate in the transitional period until Hauswirth takes up his post.
