Basel: Acron sells property at Dreispitz
Acron has sold an office and logistics property on the Dreispitz site in Basel to an institutional investor.
Acron acquired the property in 2009 and transferred it to the investment company Acron Helvetia V Immobilien AG. The sole tenant with a long-term lease is the logistics company Fiege. The property is located a few minutes by car from the center of Basel and is situated on the Dreispitz. With an area of around 500,000 sqm, the site is considered to be Basel's largest enclosed commercial and service area and is currently undergoing a transformation.
The property was the sole property of Acron Helvetia V. According to Acron, since the launch of this investment in 2011, the company's shareholders have realized an IRR of 8.4% p.a. and - including the proceeds from the sale - total distributions amounting to approximately 180% of the original investment.
