Jan Eckert becomes VR at Walde & Partner

Jan Eckert has been CEO of JLL in Switzerland since 2011. He is a business and real estate economist as well as a certified public accountant and is highly experienced in real estate valuation, the development of real estate strategies as well as in the structuring and execution of large real estate transactions.

In addition to his work at JLL, Eckert also teaches at the Center for Urban & Real Estate Management (Curem) at the University of Zurich and at the Hochschule Luzern HSLU.

According to Eckert, the market for owner-occupied residential real estate is one of the largest real estate segments in Switzerland, and Walde & Partner is "one of the important players in this exciting market."

Gerhard E. Walde, co-owner and Chairman of the Board of Walde & Partner, describes Eckert as an ideal addition to the Board of Directors, primarily because of "his many years of experience, including in the area of digitization in our industry, and his excellent network in the real estate industry."

The other board members of the company are attorney Markus Dörig, Vice President, co-founder Marianne Walde and Andreas Widmer, co-founder and partner at Westhive.

Walde & Partner Immobilien markets residential and investment properties; according to its own information, the company currently brokers around 400 properties per year. Around 60 employees work at seven locations - Baden, Lucerne, Sursee, Thalwil, Uster, Zollikon and Zurich.  (ah)
