As CEO Central Europe, Sabine Eckhardt (47) will assume responsibility for all of Central Europe. She will be based in Frankfurt and will be responsible for the further growth and digital transformation of the international real estate group, according to a JLL statement. Eckhardt will also become a member of JLL's EMEA Strategy Board.

Eckhardt does not come from the real estate industry. She was an Executive Board Member at the ProSiebenSat.1 media group until April 2019, where she was responsible for sales and marketing. Before her appointment to the Executive Board, the Bremen native was a managing director in various areas of the media group for 13 years.

Eckhardt brings a lot of experience from industries that had to undergo a digital transformation at an early stage, the company writes in a statement. "Her experience as a manager in the digitally driven media industry will unquestionably dynamize our own client solutions," Guy Grainger, CEO JLL EMEA, is quoted as saying. (ah)
