Remo Weibel to become Crowdli board member
Fintech company Crowdli has announced it has appointed Remo Weibel, former CEO of Swiss Life Select, to its board of directors.
Remo Weibel (47) held various positions at Swiss Life Select for almost 24 years. In 2010 he became CEO, and from 2012 he was also a member of the Executive Board of Swiss Life Switzerland. Weibel left the company last summer.
At Crowdli, he will focus on supporting the distribution of its subsidiary Crowdlitoken, the company says. Crowdlitoken issues a digital bond for European real estate and aims to sell 100 million tokens to private or institutional investors by the end of the year.
Weibel is not the first prominent board member at Crowdli. Former Credit Suisse CFO Renato Fassbind joined the board last fall. (ah)
