In Bernex-Sézenove, Implenia is refurbishing and extending twelve buildings for the Migros pension fund. In Munich, the company is building the Der Heimeran project, and in Berlin a high-rise residential building is being constructed for Degewo Süd Wohnungsgesellschaft.

The Migros Pension Fund (MPK) commissioned Implenia to renovate 76 apartments and add 22 new apartments in the Geneva municipality of Bernex-Sézenove. The measures will increase the living space in the twelve existing buildings by around a quarter. The project will be designed for very high energy efficiency (in accordance with the THPE standard). To this end, an insulating shell and a solar heat pump system with ice storage (IceSol) will be installed as a heating system, Implenia says. Work is due to start in May this year and finish in December 2022.

Directly at Heimeranplatz in Munich's Westend, on the corner of Ridlerstrasse and Garmischer Strasse, an office ensemble with around 15,000 sqm of gross floor area is being built to the DGNB Gold Standard. The new building is being constructed according to the plans of the renowned Munich architectural firm OSA Ochs Schmidhuber on the site of the former Philips high-rise. The Heimerain is a joint project by Kirkbi A/S, DK-Billund and Ehret+Klein.

A striking corner building characterizes the appearance of the development: a high-rise building with 14 floors, which are shifted against each other like a cube. The building is flanked by a five-storey perimeter block development. Construction is scheduled to begin in autumn 2020.

In Berlin's Gropiusstadt, Implenia is constructing a high-rise residential building for Degewo Süd Wohnungsgesellschaft on an existing site at the corner of Friedrich-Kayssler-Weg and Walter-Franck-Zeile, consisting of two connected building structures with 21 and 18 storeys. The scope of the contract includes the construction of the outdoor facilities as well as the planning services (work phases 2 to 5). A total of approx. 9,000 sqm of rentable living space will be created. The 151 apartments will be built to the KfW-55 efficiency standard. 50% of the apartments are subject to housing subsidy regulations, 30% will be barrier-free accessible. (ah)
