Patrik Stillhart joins Zug Estates as CEO
The Zug Estates Group has found a new CEO in Patrik Stillhart. Stillhart, currently Managing Director and Deputy CEO at JLL Switzerland, succeeds Tobias Achermann, who is leaving Zug Estates.
Patrik Stillhart (born 1974) will take over as head of Zug Estates on 1 August, the real estate company announced. Due to his excellent knowledge of the Swiss real estate market, his entrepreneurial track record and his networking in the region, the Board of Directors believes he is an ideal choice.
Stillhart has been Managing Director of JLL Switzerland since its foundation in February 2011. According to Jan Eckert, CEO of JLL Switzerland, the team very much regrets his departure, thanks him for his many years of great commitment to the company and wishes him every success and all the best for the future.
Stillhart began his professional career in 2001 at Ernst Basler + Partner in Zurich. In 2005, he joined the real estate team at Ernst & Young and later Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie. Corporate Finance, where he held various positions, including management responsibility. The Sal. Oppenheim team moved to Jones Lang LaSalle in 2011. Stillhart studied civil engineering at ETH Zurich and completed postgraduate studies in real estate economics at the European Business School (ebs). He has been a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) since 2006.
Stillhart succeeds Tobias Achermann as CEO of Zug Estates, who announced in July 2019 that he would be leaving the company. Achermann will hold his office until 8 May 2020. CFO Mirko Käppeli will take over as CEO on an interim basis until Stillhart joins the company. (ah)
