Edmond de Rothschild REIM has acquired a small-scale logistics complex with approximately 8,500 sqm of rental space at Spectrumlaan 5 in Bleiswijk, built in 2008. The property, which was acquired for the Edmond de Rotschild Euro Industrial Real Estate Fund, is located in Prisma Bedrijvenpark, just off the A12 freeway between The Hague and Gouda, and is reportedly fully leased to a single user.

"This acquisition fits with the fund's strategy of focusing on high-quality logistics and light industrial properties in easily accessible locations close to major cities in the Randstad conurbation and along transport corridors," says René de Heus, Head of Investment Benelux at Edmond de Rothschild. The asset manager was advised in this transaction by Hopman & Schreuder Bedrijfshuisvesting on commercial matters, by VBC Notarissen on legal and tax matters and by SGS Search on technical matters.

The portfolio of the open-ended real estate fund Edmond de Rotschild Euro Industrial Real Estate Fund (profile: Core+) currently comprises 14 properties with gross assets of around 85 million euros. The fund aims to achieve an average annual net return of over 6% over a ten-year period. The Edmond de Rotschild Euro Industrial Real Estate Fund is structured as an FCP-RAIF domiciled in Luxembourg. AIF manager is Pancura S.A., with Aztec Group acting as central administration agent. (bw)
