Realstone joins UN Global Compact
The Realstone Group has formally committed to adopting the principles of the UN Global Compact. The United Nations initiative aims to promote sustainability in companies.

Realstone is aware of the environmental impact of the real estate sector on sustainable development and has always distinguished itself by participating in innovative projects, writes Realstone in a statement. This is done, for example, by saving energy, reducing CO2 emissions from the real estate portfolio and promoting good coexistence. For this reason, the company has made a commitment to António Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations, to integrate the ten principles of the UN Global Compact into its strategy, corporate culture and daily work. The principles of the UN Global Compact relate to human rights, international labor standards, the environment and anti-corruption.
Realstone Group wants to contribute to the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and promote them within its sphere of influence. In the future, the company intends to publish an annual report in which it reports on actions and results.
The company says it is the first group active in the management of real estate funds in Switzerland to join this initiative launched by the United Nations for companies.
"We are very pleased about this new membership, the first of a group operating in the real estate sector in Switzerland," Antonio Hautle, director of the Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein, was quoted as saying in the statement. He hopes that Realstone's signal will serve to pave the way and inspire other companies in this sector in Switzerland and worldwide.
The UN Global Compact was launched in 2000 to promote Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by UN member states and summarized in the 2030 Agenda. (ah)
