New partner for Madaster
Drees & Sommer Schweiz AG is a new partner of Madaster. According to the consulting, planning and project management company, the aim of the membership is to further promote the circular economy in Switzerland.
Expertise in the field of "Material Passports" will support the cataloging of building materials and products in the central online database. Madaster offers Drees & Sommer Schweiz AG added value not only in the recording of Material Passports for new buildings, but also in the implementation of Cradle to Cradle construction projects.
"By partnering with Madaster, we can further improve circularity in our projects, helping to create the basis for a grandchild-friendly future with healthy living and working space, livable cities and a functioning infrastructure," explains Jürgen M. Volm, Partner and Chairman of the Executive Board of Drees & Sommer Schweiz AG.
Madaster Switzerland, a non-profit association based in Zurich, aims to promote the circular economy in the construction and real estate sector in Switzerland and thus prevent waste. Madaster stimulates and manages the development and use of material passports for new and existing buildings via the Madaster platform. The association's board of directors includes leading companies in Switzerland's construction and real estate sectors, and more partners are expected to join in the coming months, says Marloes Fischer, president of Madaster Switzerland.
