SF Sustainable Property Fund considers capital increase
The SPF Sustainable Property Fund has acquired properties in Bülach and Bonaduz. The fund management is considering a capital increase in the second quarter of 2020 for the purchase of further properties.

The SF Sustainable Property Fund acquired two properties with a market value of CHF 12.02 million at the beginning of the second quarter of 2020. These are residential properties in Bonaduz in the canton of Graubünden and Bülach in the canton of Zurich - both properties within the municipalities in quiet residential locations with good transport links.
The property at Sculmserstrasse 4 in Bonaduz comprises eight apartments, while the property at Vogelsangstrasse 19/21 in Bülach has twelve apartments. Due to their structural condition, both properties already have a GEAK C energy label, according to the fund management. With the new acquisitions, the portfolio now comprises 92 properties; the portfolio value of the SF Sustainable Property Fund has thus increased to CHF 1.06 billion.
Due to the positive performance of the SF Sustainable Property Fund and the fact that the extremely high residential share of around 85% is hardly affected by the current coronavirus pandemic, the fund management is looking into the possibility of a capital increase for the fund in the second quarter of 2020. The new capital would be used to acquire further opportunities. The decision will be communicated in the coming weeks. (bw)
