Capital increase for senior residence

In order to expand the real estate portfolio, Senioresidenz intends to carry out a capital increase of up to CHF 66.1 million.

Senioresidenz AG, which specializes in care facilities and senior real estate, currently has a property portfolio worth CHF 163.1 million; it is expected to grow further through acquisitions.

To finance the acquisitions, the company plans a capital increase in the period from May 25 to June 10, 2020. One existing registered share will entitle the holder to subscribe to one new registered share, Senioresidenz informs. A maximum of 1.28 million new shares with a par value of CHF 49.50 are to be issued at an issue price of CHF 51.75. A subscription rights trade
will not take place. Shares not subscribed in the rights offering will be allocated to Bank J. Safra Sarasin for further allocation to investors.

The new shares will be fully entitled to dividends for the entire 2020 financial year, with the first trading day on the BX Swiss scheduled for June 18, 2020.

Senioresidenz invests in properties in the area of senior real estate and care facilities, for example retirement apartments, retirement and nursing homes, as well as clinics and medical centers. In addition, the company can also invest in other types of temporary housing, such as student apartments, business apartments and staff housing, as part of a secondary strategy. (ah)
