Swiss Immo Lab invests in real estate data analyst

Swiss Immo Lab AG, the venture capital company of the three partners Avobis, Gebäudeversicherung Bern (GVB) and Hypothekarbank Lenzburg, managed by Investiere.ch, invests in the German Realxdata GmbH. The parties have agreed not to disclose the amount of the investment. According to Realxdata, the new capital will be used for the further development and expansion of its analysis platform and the development of new analysis tools. In addition, funds will be used to intensify customer business in Germany and expand business to France and Switzerland.

Founded by Dr. Titus Albrecht, Iñaki Merino, Stefan Nusche and Daniel Sprünker in 2016, the company is one of the technological leaders in smart data-based real estate market and portfolio analysis and operates as an independent partner for the real estate and financial sectors in Germany. In December last year, Signa Innovations and Ventech had invested a mid-single-digit million amount in the company.

Realxdata digitizes, structures and visualizes real estate portfolio data such as tenant lists and links these AI-based with market-relevant key figures from hundreds of different sources and billions of data points to enable up-to-date and immediately usable market analyses, property and portfolio valuations at the push of a button. Realxdata has received several awards for its business model and technological development work in recent months. In April 2019, the internationally renowned business magazine "Forbes" placed Realxdata on the top 10 list of the most promising AI start-ups from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. At Exporeal last October, Realxdata prevailed over 1,000 PropTech companies and won the Real Estate Innovation Award 2019 in the Investment and Finance category. (bw)
