Baloise acquires a stake in Batmaid

With the investment in Batmaid, the company is expanding its range of products and services in the "Home" ecosystem and intends to further establish itself as a service provider for everything to do with "house and home", according to Baloise. The investment in Batmaid is the fourth participation in the development of the "Home" ecosystem after Devis.ch, Bubble Box and Movu.

Through Batmaid, customers can hire pre-screened and insured house cleaning staff online, and the platform handles the registration and payment of payroll taxes on their behalf. The company was founded in April 2015 and now has around 70 employees and more than 2,000 registered domestic helpers. (ah)
