New President at the Swiss Real Estate Valuers Association
Handover of the baton at the Swiss Real Estate Valuers Association: Silvan Mohler has been the new President of the SIV since the beginning of May.
The 22nd general meeting of the SIV Swiss Real Estate Valuers Association elected Silvan Mohler as its new president on 30 April 2020. Mohler succeeds Daniel Hengartner, who presided over the SIV for nine years.
Silvan Mohler (born 1982) has been Head of Real Estate Valuation at Thurgauer Kantonalbank for six years. The business economist FH holds a Master's degree in Real Estate Management. He started his career at Mobimo Management AG and worked as a valuation expert for Wüest Partner.
As a professional association, the SIV promotes real estate valuation in the interest of authorities, property owners, investors, planners and banks. 100% subsidiary of the SIV, the Swiss Training Institute for Real Estate Valuation SIREA, among others, has made it possible to ensure that today's quality requirements in the real estate sector and a high level of professional competence in valuation can be guaranteed.
