Seitzmeir and Barnes end cooperation

The real estate service providers Seitzmeir and Barnes International are dissolving their cooperation. The reason is the strategic realignment of Barnes Switzerland, the companies say.

Barnes Switzerland has decided to include the entire spectrum of properties in its portfolio and no longer focus exclusively on the luxury segment, according to a joint statement by Barnes and Seitzmeir. This realignment has led to a strong overlap with the Seitzmeir Group's traditional and locally anchored portfolio. According to Seitzmeir Immobilien AG, the company intends to focus on its own brand and the Zurich area and surrounding conurbation in the future.

Seitzmeir Immobilien AG has been active in the Zurich area since 1917. With over 50 employees, the company provides services for larger real estate portfolios, such as initial letting, management and property sales.

Barnes Switzerland, based in Geneva, is part of Barnes International, a real estate services provider specialising in the luxury segment. The Swiss branch is primarily represented in the holiday destinations of western Switzerland on Lake Geneva and in Valais. The companies started their cooperation three years ago. (ah)
