Central Real Estate Basel loses CEO
Change in the management of Central Real Estate Basel AG: CEO Andreas U. Fürst steps down from his post. Until a new appointment is made, delegates of the Board of Directors will lead the company.
According to a statement by Central Real Estate Group, the separation from Andreas U. Fürst was "due to differing views on management and internal cooperation". The search for a new CEO has been started. Until the position in Basel is definitively filled again, delegates of the Board of Directors will head Central Real Estate Basel AG.
The real estate company is developing the Klybeck site together with the canton of Basel-Stadt and Swiss Life. Fürst has laid a stable foundation for further development in the build-up phase from the takeover of the former Novartis site by the Central Real Estate Group to the present day and has earned great recognition among planning partners and the public in Basel, the company said. Fürst will continue to advise Central Real Estate Basel AG on the Klybeckplus project, it added.
The next few months will see the development of the overall urban development concept and work on the urban development contract between the planning parties. The job profile of the new CEO is also tailored to this, according to the Central Real Estate Group. (ah)
