Swiss Estates carries out capital increase
The residential real estate investor Swiss Estates has converted bond units into shares and participation certificates as part of a capital increase.

Swiss Estates AG has increased its share capital to CHF 6.97 million and its participation certificate capital to 12.91 million. According to the company, the share capital now consists of 1.75 million voting shares at CHF 0.50 and 1.22 million ordinary shares at CHF 5.00 (previously 1.17 million). Participation capital now consists of 2.58 million bearer participation certificates at CHF 5.00, up from 2.12 million.
With this measure, the shares of the convertible bond from 2014, which were in the possession of the public, were taken back by means of conversion, Swiss Estates said. Thus, the bond ends in conversion; shares held by the issuer would be cancelled.
Swiss Estates AG invests in residential properties in the urban areas of Switzerland, including agglomerations of the larger cities. The company acquires properties with 20 rental units or more, with a focus on assets with repositioning potential. (ah)
