1291 Swiss investment foundation seeks fresh capital
1291 The Swiss Investment Foundation is carrying out an issue for the Swiss Real Estate investment group with a maximum volume of CHF 100 million until August 31, 2020.
The 1291 Swiss Investment Foundation intends to invest the new funds in the acquisition of existing properties, primarily residential real estate, in the Zurich, Basel, Bern and St. Gallen regions. According to the investment foundation, there is a pipeline of acquisition properties worth over CHF 200 million.
The Real Estate Switzerland investment group invests directly in real estate throughout Switzerland. According to the investment foundation, the strategic target allocation is a diversified portfolio with a focus on the residential sector.
The portfolio currently has a volume of 400 million; the vacancy rate (including projects) is 4.59%. The net yield is estimated at around 3.10% and the investment yield at around 6.20%. Since its launch in October 2018, the investment group has achieved a performance of 11.15% or 6.20% p.a. (ah)
