Giuseppe Santagada becomes COO of Vebego International
Vebego International B.V. is reorganizing its Group Executive Board as of January 1, 2021, and appointing Guiseppe Santagada as COO.

Vebego International B.V. appoints Giuseppe Santagada, CEO of Vebego Schweiz Holding AG and Vebego AG since 2018, to the then newly formed Group Executive Board of the international parent company as Group Chief Operation Officer (COO) as of January 1, 2021.
In addition to his new activities as COO, Santagada will also focus on Germany from 2021, the company says. He will retain his focus on Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. As Chairman of the Board of Directors, Santagada will thus take over both the overall management and the strategic development of the five Swiss companies and the seven German companies, which operate under various brands.
"With growth, increased internationalization and advancing digitalization, the management complexity at Vebego International has increased. To meet these challenges, we have now initiated measures to continue the positive development of our family-owned company on a solid foundation and to drive it forward in the future," Ronald and Ton Goedmakers, as family owners of Vebego International B.V., explain the move.
Due to the new transfer of functions, Santagada's current dual role as CEO of Vebego Schweiz Holding AG and Vebego AG is no longer possible. Accordingly, the recruitment of a new CEO for Vebego AG has been initiated so that the new formation will already be in place from spring 2021.
Vebego Schweiz Holding also announces that it has agreed a strategic partnership with the media company SRG. SRG has thus entrusted Vebego with a comprehensive facility management mandate. The Bern branch of Vebego AG and Move Consultants AG will rent the main SRG building at Giacomettistrasse 1 and at the same time take over all services for the tenants in the building.
"With this step, we want to offer our customers a workspace-as-a-service at their fingertips in the Bern region as well," says Giuseppe Santagada, CEO Vebego Schweiz Holding. With this step, Vebego is strengthening its market presence in the federal capital "enormously." Berne is a strategically important location for the company and it wants to expand its market presence in the Mittelland region.
Vebego understands Workspace-as-a-Service (WSaaS) as a far-reaching concept that combines workplace design with corporate culture right through to facility management services at the customer site. (bw/ah)
