Patrizia opens office in Zurich
The German real estate company Patrizia has opened its 24th location worldwide - on Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich.
Patrizia AG said a number of the company's executives are based in Zurich, including co-CEO Thomas Wels. Zurich is an important global financial center and the new local presence will provide better access to the global network of institutional investors and better serve existing clients, Wels said.
In addition, new recruit Aaron Scott is working in Patrizia's new Zurich office. He has joined the real estate company as Head of Strategy & ESG and reports directly to Wels. Scott is to play a key role in the implementation of Strategy 2023, in which ESG is to be a strategic focus area, Patrizia further announces.
In the growth concept, ESG, sustainable investment and social impact are key strategic focus areas, Wels said. Prior to joining Patrizia, Scott spent 20 years in change management and strategy development for the National Bank of Australia in Melbourne and UBS in London and Zurich.
