Adimora invests in Geneva, Testina in Paris
Pensimo also announces that the Adimora investment foundation has acquired a housing estate built in 1959 with 43 apartments and several retail spaces on the Route de Chancy in the center of Onex. Onex is located about 5 km southwest of Geneva's city center; a streetcar stop is located directly at the estate. Over the next few years, the property and the area of just under 5,400 sqm are to be further developed.
Already at the beginning of July, the Testina investment foundation purchased an office property in Paris for the Alpha investment group. According to Pensimo, the property comprises around 1,440 sqm of office space on six floors and is in a very good location in the 9th arrondissement, in the heart of the "South Pigalle" (SoPi) district at the foot of Montmartre. A bus station is located right in front of the property, and Gare Saint-Lazare is a ten-minute walk away. The building was built in 1930 in the Art Deco style and has a courtyard and a roof terrace. Currently, the space is leased to a sole tenant for nine years - with no break-up options.
The SoPi district is considered one of the hippest areas of the city and is very well mixed with offices, restaurants, bars, hotels, fashion boutiques, apartments and schools. Among others, Google France (headquarters), Adidas and Axa France have locations in the quarter. Directly across the street from the property is the first "Soho House Hotel" in Paris, an internationally oriented private club. The opening of the hotel in a core-renovated, historic building is planned for the end of 2021. (ah)
